Clearance and disposal: the price first, then empty rooms
Flat, house, cellar, office or estate: you decide what stays. We clear the rest, dispose of it properly and hand over broom-clean – with final cleaning and painting by the same company if you wish.
How we charge
- One vehicle with two people costs CHF 225 to 260 per hour, depending on the job. A flat fee of CHF 190 per vehicle and job is added for the vehicle, fuel and the journey there and back (within the region; longer distances as quoted).
- Disposal CHF 40 to 50 per m³, depending on the material.
- Minimum 3 hours; survey and quote free of charge.
- These rates include VAT. A fixed price on request.

How much does a move with Umzugsexpress cost?
Our hourly rates for moves: vehicle with 2 movers CHF 190 per hour, with 3 movers CHF 285, with 4 movers CHF 360, with 5 movers CHF 450, incl. VAT. A minimum of 3 hours is charged. A flat fee of CHF 190 per vehicle and job is added for the vehicle, fuel and the journey there and back (within the region; longer distances as quoted). The price depends on volume, floors and access, distance and additional services. After a free survey – on site or by video – you receive a written quote – either a fixed price, which applies with no surcharges afterwards as long as volume and access match the details you gave, or billing by the actual hours. You choose.
How early should I book?
Four to six weeks ahead is ideal. Around the official moving dates at the end of March, June and September, enquire earlier. Short-notice dates are often possible – give us a call.
Are my belongings insured?
Yes. We are liable by law for damage we cause, and this liability is insured with Allianz Suisse: carrier's liability insurance up to CHF 200,000 per vehicle, in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Europe (CMR). For art and valuables we can look into additional cover on request.
What does the cleaning handover guarantee mean?
If the property manager objects to the cleaning at handover, we redo it free of charge until the apartment is accepted.
Do you move at weekends?
Saturday moves are possible and common for office relocations. Trucks over 3.5 tonnes may not drive on Sundays in Switzerland, so we schedule large moves on weekdays or Saturdays.
Do you move abroad?
Yes, to every European country and from there to Switzerland. We help with the inventory list and the customs declaration for household goods.
Which regions do you cover?
All of Switzerland. From our base in Spreitenbach we are especially quick in the Limmat Valley, Zurich, Baden and Aargau.
