There is no fixed amount per flat for a clearance: two flats of the same size can be filled very differently. The price therefore has two parts – working time and disposal. Here you can see how both arise and what to expect.
How the price is made up
The price has two parts: the team’s working time, charged for the time actually worked, and disposal by volume.
- One vehicle with two people costs CHF 225 to 260 per hour, depending on the job. A flat fee of CHF 190 per vehicle and job is added for the vehicle, fuel and the journey there and back (within the region; longer distances as quoted).
- For disposal we reckon with CHF 40 to 50 per cubic metre, depending on the material.
- We charge a minimum of 3 hours.
These rates include VAT. On request we quote a fixed price after the free survey that includes everything, VAT too.
In detail:
- Working time: sorting, dismantling, carrying, loading and the trip to the disposal site. As a rule we come with one vehicle and two people.
- Disposal: it depends on the volume in cubic metres and on the material.
- Separate: hazardous waste such as paint and chemicals, and final cleaning and painting work if you want them.

The volumes in the table are assumptions for averagely filled rooms. Your volume may differ considerably – we know it precisely after the survey.
| Clearance | Volume | Disposal (guide value) |
|---|---|---|
| Cellar or attic | approx. 3 m³ | CHF 120–150 |
| Garage | approx. 6 m³ | CHF 240–300 |
| 2-room flat | approx. 15 m³ | CHF 600–750 |
| 3.5-room flat | approx. 22 m³ | CHF 880–1,100 |
| 4.5-room flat | approx. 30 m³ | CHF 1,200–1,500 |
| Detached house | approx. 48 m³ | CHF 1,920–2,400 |
What changes the price
- Floors without a lift and long carrying distances
- Single items over 100 kg – we charge a surcharge for these
- Many small items that have to be sorted first
- Furniture and fittings that have to be dismantled
- No stopping place for the vehicle close to the entrance
- The team’s breaks count as working time: 15 minutes in the morning and a further 15 minutes for jobs of 8 hours or more. The lunch break is not charged.
When a second vehicle is added
As a rule we clear with one vehicle and two people. For large volumes we use a second vehicle and a third person; the hourly rate then rises. We see during the survey whether this is necessary for your job and show it in the quote.
How to save on a clearance
- Sell or give away items in good condition yourself before the clearance – that reduces the volume
- Return electrical appliances free of charge to retailers
- Combine the clearance with a move or final cleaning
- Pre-sort yourself what stays and what can go – that saves working time
Only one or two pieces of furniture?
For individual pieces that you can carry yourself, your municipality’s bulky-waste collection or recycling centre is usually cheaper than a team with a vehicle. Furniture disposal explains when collection is still worthwhile.
In a hurry? How quickly we can come and what we need from you is explained here: Emergency clearance.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offset valuable items against the price?
On request. Tell us when you enquire; whether and how much is offset is then stated in the quote. Take valuables and personal items – documents, jewellery, cash – yourself before the clearance; anything we still find is set aside and handed over to you.
Is there a flat rate per flat?
No, not per room or flat. We only see how much work and volume are involved during the survey. After that we quote a fixed price that includes everything, if you wish.
What does the survey cost?
Nothing. The survey is free – on site or by video call.
How can I pay?
In cash, with TWINT or by invoice.
What do you not take?
We do not transport gas cylinders, fuel or other flammable substances. We take hazardous waste such as paint and chemicals by arrangement.
Do you credit usable items?
No. What we clear is disposed of. It is best to sell or give away items in good condition before the clearance – that also reduces the volume.
