The flat handover is in two days, the cleaning company has cancelled, or the property manager has not accepted the flat: then you need a final cleaning that starts at once. This page explains how quickly we can come, which conditions apply and what the handover guarantee covers.
In short
Call us and give the flat size, the handover date and whether the flat is empty. If a team is free, we clean the same day; if not, we name the next free slot. The handover guarantee also applies to short-notice jobs. Price and emergency surcharge are stated in the quote before you accept.
When emergency cleaning becomes necessary
- The handover date is fixed and there is no time left to clean yourself.
- The cleaning company you booked has cancelled.
- The property manager has objected to the cleaning at the handover and set a new deadline.
- The move was postponed, the handover was not.
- After a clearance, the flat has to go back to the property manager at once.
Handover failed – what now?
- Ask for the handover report listing the points objected to.
- Ask about the deadline for re-cleaning and have it confirmed in writing.
- Send us the report and photos. That tells us what needs re-cleaning.
- Only agree the new handover date with the property manager once the cleaning date is fixed.

What end-of-tenancy cleaning includes
- Cleaning of all rooms according to the handover checklist
- Windows, blinds and frames
- Cellar and balcony if you wish
- Eco-friendly cleaning products
Repairs, painting or replacing defective parts are not included. All details: end-of-tenancy cleaning. If we also do the move: move-out cleaning.
What we need for a quick job
- An empty flat. If furniture is still in it, we clear first: emergency clearance.
- Power, hot water and light.
- The key, or someone to let us in.
- Flat size and additional areas such as balcony, cellar or garage.
- The handover date – and the property manager’s checklist if there is one.
Handover guarantee – even when time is tight
If the property manager objects to the cleaning at the flat handover, we re-clean free of charge until the flat is accepted. The guarantee applies if the handover takes place within three days of the cleaning, the flat is no longer used until then and we know the handover date (terms and conditions).
What emergency cleaning costs
You receive a fixed price after a survey on site or by video call. Guide prices by flat size and a calculator are available under move-out cleaning costs. Emergency jobs carry a surcharge on top; its amount is stated in the quote before you accept. You can pay by TWINT, in cash or by invoice.
What is not possible at short notice
- Cleaning while the move or clearance is still going on. If possible, allow half a day to a full day between the move and the handover.
- Cleaning does not replace repairs or painting. We fill holes and paint walls as painting work – that needs time of its own.
Frequently asked questions
How short-notice can end-of-tenancy cleaning be?
The same day if a team is free. Otherwise we tell you on the phone when the next free slot is.
Do you also clean in the evening or at the weekend?
In the evening until 10 pm, and until midnight with your neighbours’ consent. Saturdays are possible; Sundays and public holidays by prior arrangement.
Does the handover guarantee also apply to emergency cleaning?
Yes, on the same conditions: the handover takes place within three days of the cleaning, the flat is not used until then, and we know the handover date.
The property manager did not accept the flat. Can you re-clean?
Yes. Send us the report and photos of the areas objected to.
Does the flat have to be empty?
Yes. Final cleaning only starts once the flat is empty.
What does emergency cleaning cost?
The fixed price depends on size, condition and additional areas; an emergency surcharge is added. Both are stated in the quote.
Is there an express cleaning before the handover?
Yes: end-of-tenancy cleaning the same day if a team is free – otherwise we give you the next free slot on the phone, with the same handover guarantee as every final cleaning, plus an emergency surcharge – the amount is in the quote before you agree.
