How renting a storage unit works
- You tell us what you are storing and how often you need access to your things.
- We suggest the size – if you fetch things often, you need an aisle and therefore slightly more space.
- Written quote; the minimum term is one month.
- You move in yourself, or we take care of the transport.
- Access is by arrangement.
What affects the price
Guide value: storage costs CHF 22–32 per m³ per month (incl. VAT).
We quote the binding price after the free survey – on site, by video call or from photos. These factors play a role:
- Area
- Rental period
- Transport
Storage room: what matters
- Choose size by volume: 1 to 1.5 rooms about 12 m³, 3.5 rooms about 30 m³.
- Dismantle furniture and use same-size boxes – more fits into less space.
- Keep an inventory list so you know where things are.
- Not allowed: food, flammables, liquids, living things.
Our tip
Use boxes of the same size. They stack stably and save space.

The right size depends on how often you need access. If you fetch things often, you need an aisle in the unit – so a bit more space than the pure volume.
