How a heavy transport works
- You tell us the object, its weight or model and both locations.
- Survey: we check the entire route – load capacity of the stairs, door widths, turns, the ground in front of the building.
- Written quote; for items over 100 kg it states the surcharge.
- Transport with safe trolley, stair climber or lifting gear; we protect stairs and floors from point loads.
- Load securing on the vehicle and placement at the new location.
What affects the price
We quote the binding price after the free survey – on site, by video call or from photos. These factors play a role:
- Weight and dimensions
- Stairs, access and floor load capacity
- Equipment required
- Number of movers
For single items over 100 kg we charge a surcharge; the amount is stated in the quote.
Heavy and safe transport: what matters
- State weight and dimensions exactly – for a safe they are often on the type plate or in the documents.
- Have the load capacity of floors, stairs and lift checked; especially important in old buildings.
- Plan anchoring at the destination with a safe specialist.
- Empty the safe beforehand – an empty safe is lighter and safer.

For heavy safes, check with the property manager whether the floor at the new location can bear the load.
