What a clearance in Otelfingen costs
The price has two parts: the team’s working time, charged for the time actually worked, and disposal by volume.
- One vehicle with two people costs CHF 225 to 260 per hour, depending on the job. A flat fee of CHF 190 per vehicle and job is added for the vehicle, fuel and the journey there and back (within the region; longer distances as quoted).
- For disposal we reckon with CHF 40 to 50 per cubic metre, depending on the material.
- We charge a minimum of 3 hours.

Disposing of things yourself in Otelfingen: what the municipality offers
- The Entsorgungsplatz Steinackerstrasse (disposal site) takes glass, small metal items, tin cans, aluminium, batteries, textiles, shoes and aluminium coffee capsules: Mon–Fri 7:00–20:00, Sat 7:00–17:00, closed Sundays and holidays. Bulky waste is not accepted.
- Bulky waste goes with Wednesday’s household collection (put out by 7:00). Each item or bundle needs a CHF 10 sticker, available at the Gemeindeverwaltung.
- According to the municipality, the private Recyclingpark Otelfingen run by Intrex GmbH, Harbernstrasse 9, in the industrial area accepts all kinds of waste, some free, some for a fee.
- Shops and SWICO/SENS return points take back electrical appliances free of charge. In 2026 the Sonderabfallmobil (mobile hazardous waste collection) stopped at the Gemeindehaus on 10 July (max. 20 kg per person).
- The Entsorgungskalender 2026 names Limeco, Reservatstrasse 5, Dietikon, as the waste incineration plant.
