- The municipality points out that even a standard two-seater sofa weighs over 50 kg. Heavy furniture must be taken apart into pieces of no more than 44 kg, otherwise it will be left behind.
- Chemicals and medicines go back to the shop. The municipality takes electronics and small household appliances free on special collection days (2026: Saturday, 27 June, 8:00–12:00, Holzrütistrasse 1).
- The Abfallkalender lists the KVA Turgi (waste incineration plant) as a further drop-off point.
