From your parents’ home to a shared flat, or from a shared flat to your first studio: student moves are small but often short-notice. We come with a compact crew and a van – you don’t pay for a large truck.

How a student move works
- You tell us the stops – parents’ home, old flat share, new address – and whether you will help carry.
- Short survey by video call or on site.
- Quote as a fixed price or by the hour for a van and one or two movers.
- We drive to all stops one after another on a single date, in the evening if you wish.
- At the destination we assemble bed and wardrobe and take old furniture away for disposal.

You choose: a fixed price after the free survey – it stays the same even if it takes longer, as long as scope and access match – or billing by the actual hours at the rates above. Furniture blankets and film are included in every move.
Guide value: one vehicle with two movers costs CHF 190 per hour, with three movers CHF 285 (incl. VAT). A minimum of 3 hours is charged. A flat fee of CHF 190 per vehicle and job is added for the vehicle, fuel and the journey there and back (within the region; longer distances as quoted). You choose: a fixed price after the free survey, or billing by the actual hours.
We quote the binding price after the free survey – on site, by video call or from photos. These factors play a role:
- Volume
- Floor and lift
- Distance
- Your help with carrying
Student move: what matters
- Pack everything in boxes, bags and labelled sacks – loose items cost the most time.
- Dismantle flat-pack furniture beforehand if you can.
- Ask flatmates what belongs to you and what stays in the flat.
- Choose a weekday – usually easier to plan than the month-end.

From our experience
Student moves are often multi-stop moves: some furniture from your parents’ home, boxes from the old shared flat, a bed from an online marketplace. We drive these stops one after the other on one date.

Frequently asked questions
Do you speak English?
Yes. You can call, message us on WhatsApp or email in English. The person who does the survey and the team leader on moving day speak English, and on request your written quote and invoice are in English too.
Can you come with just one person?
Yes. For a few pieces of furniture and boxes, one mover with a van is often enough if you help.
Can you pick up from several addresses?
Yes. Tell us all addresses when you enquire and we plan the route.
Is there a minimum job size?
The minimum duration is stated in the quote. For very small transports a part load often makes sense.
What does a student move cost?
For 1 to 1.5 rooms the guide price is in the table above. With little furniture, the actual time counts most.
Can I help carry?
Yes, if you lend a hand it goes faster – with hourly billing you save money.
