How an end-of-tenancy cleaning works

1. You tell us the flat size and handover date and send the property manager’s checklist if there is one.
2. Survey on site or by video call; if we notice something that cleaning cannot fix, we tell you.
3. Written quote – fixed price or by the hour; we add cellar and balcony on request.
4. We clean the empty flat according to the handover checklist – for this we need power, hot water and light.
5. Handover guarantee: if the property manager objects to the cleaning, we re-clean free of charge.

Prices and what affects them

We quote the binding price after the free survey – on site, by video call or from photos. These factors play a role:

• Size
• Condition
• Extra areas such as balcony, cellar, garage

Final cleaning: what matters

• Limescale in bathroom and kitchen, the oven, extractor filters and blinds are the most common objections at handover.
• The flat must be empty; electricity and water must still be on.
• Plan cleaning and handover close together so that the guarantee applies.
• Clarify small repairs such as screw and nail holes beforehand – they are not part of the cleaning.

From our experience

Final cleaning can only start once the flat is empty. Plan a buffer between the move and the handover – ideally half a day to a full day.
