How a move for seniors works

- Quote as a fixed price or by the hour; clearance and cleaning of the previous home can be included.

You choose: a fixed price after the free survey – it stays the same even if it takes longer, as long as scope and access match – or billing by the actual hours at the rates above. Furniture blankets and film are included in every move.
Guide value: one vehicle with two movers costs CHF 190 per hour, with three movers CHF 285 (incl. VAT). A minimum of 3 hours is charged. A flat fee of CHF 190 per vehicle and job is added for the vehicle, fuel and the journey there and back (within the region; longer distances as quoted). You choose: a fixed price after the free survey, or billing by the actual hours.
We quote the binding price after the free survey – on site, by video call or from photos. These factors play a role:
- How much help with sorting is needed
- Volume
- Clearing furniture that is not moving
- Final cleaning
Senior move: what matters
- Get the floor plan of the new flat or room and decide together which furniture comes along.
- Set up familiar things first: bed, favourite armchair, pictures – it makes the first days easier.
- Decide early what stays behind: family, second-hand shop or disposal.
- Coordinate the date with the home or management; many homes have fixed move-in times.
Our tip
Take photos of shelves and display cabinets before packing. We can then arrange them exactly the same way in the new home.
